وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّمَّا جَآءَكُم بِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ رَسُولًۭا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌۭ مُّرْتَابٌ
Translation
Sahih International
And Joseph had already come to you before with clear proofs, but you remained in doubt of that which he brought to you, until when he died, you said, 'Never will Allah send a messenger after him.' Thus does Allah leave astray he who is a transgressor and skeptic."

وَلَقَدْ
And indeed
جَآءَكُمْ
came to you
يُوسُفُ
Yusuf
مِن
before
قَبْلُ

بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ
with clear proofs
فَمَا
but not
زِلْتُمْ
you ceased
فِى
in
شَكٍّۢ
doubt
مِّمَّا
about what
جَآءَكُم
he brought to you
بِهِۦ ۖ
[with it]
حَتَّىٰٓ
until
إِذَا
when
هَلَكَ
he died
قُلْتُمْ
you said
لَن
Never
يَبْعَثَ
will Allah raise
ٱللَّهُ
will Allah raise
مِنۢ
after him
بَعْدِهِۦ
after him
رَسُولًۭا ۚ
a Messenger
كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
يُضِلُّ
Allah lets go astray
ٱللَّهُ
Allah lets go astray
مَنْ
who
هُوَ
[he]
مُسْرِفٌۭ
(is) a transgressor
مُّرْتَابٌ
a doubter
٣٤
