فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُحْىِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
Translation
Sahih International
So, We said, "Strike the slain man with part of it." Thus does Allah bring the dead to life, and He shows you His signs that you might reason.
Word-by-Word Translation
فَقُلْنَا
So We said
ٱضْرِبُوهُ
Strike him
بِبَعْضِهَا ۚ
with a part of it
كَذَٰلِكَ
Like this
يُحْىِ
revives
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
the dead
وَيُرِيكُمْ
and shows you
ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ
His Signs
لَعَلَّكُمْ
perhaps you may
تَعْقِلُونَ
use your intellect
