أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًۭا فَفَتَقْنَٰهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Translation
Sahih International
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?

أَوَلَمْ
Do not
يَرَ
see
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوٓا۟
disbelieved
أَنَّ
that
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
and the earth
كَانَتَا
were
رَتْقًۭا
a joined entity
فَفَتَقْنَـٰهُمَا ۖ
then We parted them
وَجَعَلْنَا
and We made
مِنَ
from
ٱلْمَآءِ
[the] water
كُلَّ
every
شَىْءٍ
living thing
حَىٍّ ۖ
living thing
أَفَلَا
Then will not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
they believe
