لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٌۭ مِّنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍۢ سُوٓءًۭا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ ۚ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ
Translation
Sahih International
For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.

مُعَقِّبَـٰتٌۭ
(are) successive (Angels)
مِّنۢ

بَيْنِ
(before)
يَدَيْهِ

وَمِنْ
and from
خَلْفِهِۦ
and behind him
يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ
who guard him
مِنْ
by
أَمْرِ
(the) command
ٱللَّهِ ۗ
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
(does) not
يُغَيِّرُ
change
مَا
(the condition)
بِقَوْمٍ
of a people
حَتَّىٰ
until
يُغَيِّرُوا۟
they change
مَا
what
بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ
(is) in themselves
وَإِذَآ
And when
أَرَادَ
wills
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِقَوْمٍۢ
for a people
سُوٓءًۭا
misfortune
فَلَا
then (there is) no
مَرَدَّ
turning away
لَهُۥ ۚ
of it
وَمَا
and not
لَهُم
for them
مِّن
from
دُونِهِۦ
besides Him
مِن
any
وَالٍ
protector
